Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving south toward Amboseli National Park. Arrive for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a relaxing break. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, where large elephant herds roam beneath the towering snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return for dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend the whole day exploring Amboseli’s thriving wildlife ecosystem. Begin with a sunrise game drive when predators and grazers are most active. After lunch and some leisure time, head out for an afternoon drive to spot more elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes and countless bird species. Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, leave Amboseli and travel north, passing through Nairobi before descending into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the lake, where hippos and birdlife thrive. You may also take an optional nature walk on Crescent Island, offering relaxed encounters with grazing wildlife. Dinner and overnight in Naivasha.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy a relaxed morning before driving to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park. Check in at your lodge and have lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s acacia forests and lakeside wetlands, home to white and black rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards and seasonal flamingos. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and journey across the sprawling Rift Valley plains toward the legendary Masai Mara. Arrive for lunch and unwind before enjoying a late afternoon game drive across the Mara’s wildlife-rich savannahs. Watch for elephants, zebras, wildebeests, lions, cheetahs and other iconic species. Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara camp or lodge.

Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Masai Mara. Begin with a sunrise game drive followed by breakfast, or opt for a full-day excursion with a packed picnic lunch that allows you to explore deeper into the reserve. The Mara offers outstanding opportunities to spot the Big Five and experience the dramatic African wilderness. Optional activities include a Maasai cultural visit or hot air balloon safari. Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi
