Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa / Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up and drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. Enter through Bachuma Gate and enjoy an en-route game drive as you head toward your lodge. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive where you may encounter red elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, take a short game drive as you exit Tsavo East and journey west into Tsavo West National Park. The scenery becomes more dramatic with volcanic hills, lava flows and dense bushlands. Arrive for lunch then proceed for an afternoon visit to Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters host hippos and crocodiles. Continue with a game drive toward the rhino sanctuary before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the Chyulu Hills and depart for Amboseli National Park. On arrival, settle in for lunch before heading out on your afternoon game drive. Amboseli offers one of the best spots in Africa to observe elephants up close, often standing dramatically against the towering silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge or camp.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend your day exploring Amboseli’s diverse landscapes. Begin with a sunrise game drive when animal activity is high, giving you opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, zebras and numerous bird species. After lunch and relaxation, head out for another evening game drive as the golden light offers perfect photography moments. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi / Mombasa

Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast. After checking out, begin your journey back to Nairobi or Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your preferred location marks the end of your memorable 5-day safari.
