Day 1: Mombasa/Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins early with a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park. Upon entering the park, you embark on your first game drive across open savannahs, red-soil landscapes, and areas around the famous Aruba Dam, where wildlife frequently gathers. After lunch and relaxation at your lodge or tented camp, an afternoon game drive follows, offering sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and rich birdlife. The day ends with dinner and overnight in the heart of Tsavo East.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, you enjoy a final morning game drive through Tsavo East before departing for Tsavo West. The scenery transforms into rolling hills, lava fields and wooded valleys as you enter Tsavo West. A game drive en route to your lodge gives you the chance to spot elephants, antelopes, rhinos, and predators hidden within the rugged terrain. After lunch, your afternoon exploration includes the Ngulia area and the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Mzima Springs – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you visit the renowned Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters support hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant fish life. After a short guided walk, you exit Tsavo West and drive toward Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you check into your lodge for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon before heading out for a game drive across Amboseli’s famous plains. The park is known for its huge elephant herds and panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, providing remarkable wildlife and photography opportunities as the sun sets.

Day 4: Amboseli – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary – Salt Lick Lodge

Your day begins with a sunrise game drive, offering spectacular views of Kilimanjaro and excellent morning wildlife activity. After breakfast, you depart Amboseli and journey toward Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you check into the breathtaking Salt Lick Lodge, uniquely built on high stilts above illuminated waterholes. After lunch, an afternoon game drive unfolds across the sanctuary’s rolling hills, where elephants, buffalos, antelopes and predators roam. The evening at Salt Lick provides unmatched wildlife viewing right beneath your room.

Day 5: Salt Lick – Morning Game Drive – Return to Mombasa/Nairobi

Your final day starts with an early morning game drive around Taita Hills Sanctuary, enjoying peaceful landscapes and rewarding sightings before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After check-out, you drive out of the sanctuary and begin your journey back to Mombasa or Nairobi. You arrive in the afternoon with beautiful memories of your 5 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli & Salt Lick Safari.
