3 Days Tsavo East and Amboseli Safari – Best Kenya Wildlife Adventure

Day 1: Mombasa/Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari starts early in the morning with a drive to Tsavo East National Park, entering through the main gate for your first game drive across the expansive red-soil plains. The morning offers excellent chances to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and other iconic wildlife. After enjoying the scenery and wildlife, you proceed to your lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, another game drive takes you around the Aruba Dam area, where animals converge to drink, offering great sightings before you return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you exit Tsavo East with a final game viewing en route and drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. You settle into your lodge or camp and take in the dramatic landscape dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, you embark on a game drive through Amboseli’s open plains and marshes, home to large elephant herds, buffalo, cheetahs, and an impressive variety of birdlife. As the sun sets behind the mountain, you return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Amboseli – Morning Game Drive – Return to Mombasa/Nairobi

You begin the day with a sunrise game drive, taking advantage of the best photography light and the clearest views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Wildlife is active during the early hours, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, and plains game against the mountain backdrop. After breakfast at the lodge, you check out and depart from Amboseli, driving back to Mombasa or Nairobi.
